Vlogger Power

Would you rather have the latest Hollywood It-Person promoting your product or a YouTube vlogger?  The latest trend in advertising is using vloggers with a cult following to promote products for a fraction of the price compared to celebrities.  Ad Age reports that big companies such as Lancome, Ford, and Kellogg’s believe that these vloggers have a larger repeat target audience with their undivided attention.

These popular vlogger have had all time views from 66,000 to over 550,000.  Among these include Fred, the annoying voice that has throws fits while acting as a child in a dysfunctional family and Nigahiga, a Japanese-American comedian who got his following from lip syncing.  Both of these vloggers and more have promoted several products for national companies.  See what other companies are using vloggers for product placement.
